History News Desk !!! Shankarao Bhaurao Chavan (English: Shankarrao Bhavrao CHAVAN, born- 14 July 1920; death- 26 February 2004) was a politician of the Indian National Congress. He was the Chief Minister of Maharashtra twice.
Shankarao Chahwan served as Chief Minister of Maharashtra from February 21, 1975 to 16 May 1977 and then from 12 March 1986 to 26 June 1988.
He was also the Union Finance Minister of India from 1987 to 1989.
