Sahitya News Desk !!! Mani Madhukar (English: Mani Madhukar, born- 9 September, 1942, Rajasthan) is a famous poet and writer of English and Rajasthani language. His original name is Maniram Sharma. He was awarded the ‘Sahitya Akademi Award’ in 1975 for a poetry collection ‘Pagferau’ written by him.
Biography
Mani Madhukar was born on 9 September 1942 in Seuwa (Rajgarh), Churu district of Rajasthan. He has completed his education from Government Lohia College, Churu and completed his MA in English from Rajasthan University, Jaipur.

Mani Madhukar edited many works. Many works were translated into Bengali, Kannada, Oriya, Marathi, Punjabi, Dogri, Assamese, Gujarati etc. and foreign languages like Russian, German, Polish, French and English.
