Bhupati Mohan Sen (English: Bhupati Mohan Sen, born- 3 January, 1888; died- 24 September, 1978) was a well-known mathematician and physicist of India. He made significant contributions in the field of quantum mechanics and fluid mechanics. He was awarded the Padma Bhushan (1974) for his contribution in the field of literature and education.

Bhupati Mohan Sen was born on 3 January 1888 in pre-independence Bengal. His father Raj Mohan Sen was a professor of mathematics and vice-principal of Rajshahi Government College. His mother Nishi Tara Devi was a devoted woman with a very religious nature. Bhupati Mohan Sen taught at Presidency College and Mathematics Department of Calcutta University. He was also a member of the governing body of the ‘Bose Institute’. In 1974, Bhupati Mohan Sen was awarded the ‘Padma Bhushan’ by the Government of India.
