Both of them considered making a serial based on the column ‘Duniya Ne Undha Chashma’ and their talks continued for two years. In fact, columnist Taarak Mehta was also confused at that time, because his close friend Mahesh Bhai Vakil, living in Surat, was also preparing to make a serial based on the column.
