History News Desk !!! Kumudben Manishankar Joshi (English: Kumudben Manishankar Joshi, born 31 January 1934) was the 14th Governor of Andhra Pradesh. She was the Governor of Andhra Pradesh from 1985 to 1990. She was also the General Secretary of Gujarat PCC.
After Sharda Mukherjee, Kumudben Joshi was the second woman governor of Andhra Pradesh. Kumudben Joshi was the Governor from 26 November 1985 to 7 February 1990. She was also the Deputy Minister of Information and Broadcasting (1980–1982) and Health and Family Welfare (1982–1984). Kumudben Joshi was a three -time member of the Rajya Sabha three times from 15 October, 1973 to April 2, 1976, 3 April, 1976 to April 2, 1982 and then from April 3, 1982 to 25 November 1985.
