In most Hindi films, he played the character of the villain. Actor Sujit Kumar is considered the first superstar of Bhojpuri films. When Bhojpuri films were about to drown in the 60-70s, in Bhojpuri films, Sujit worked to blow Sanjeevani and just since then his magic has been such that he had become the first superstar of Bhollywood.

Introduction

Sujit Kumar was born on 7 February 1934 in Banaras, Uttar Pradesh. Sujit Kumar, who belonged to a farmer family, probably never thought that he would become an unmatched actor of Bhojpuri cinema. Along with his famous actor Rajesh Khanna, he played the role of a supporting actor in many films. Sujit Kumar has a son and a daughter in his family.

Film beginning

It is a matter of fortunate that Fani Mazumdar Saheb, who was a judge in that drama competition, has been a well -known producer. Fani ji called him the best actor of the play and said- “Why don’t you try in films?” This one sentence turned Sujit Kumar towards films. Kishore Kumar gave Sujit an opportunity to the first film ‘Door Gagan Ki Chhaon’. But Sunit Kumar had to wait for ‘Aradhana’ to get success. Sujit Kumar was the on-screen companion of Rajesh Khanna. In films like ‘Hathi Mera Saathi’, ‘Amar Prem’, ‘Mehbooba’, ‘Roti’, both were well appreciated. Apart from Rajesh Khanna, Sujit Kumar also appeared several times with top actors like Amitabh Bachchan and Dharmendra.
