Entertainment News Desk – There are many sorrows which are not visible, but that does not mean that they do not hurt. If a person keeps repeating this line again and again, then understand that some sorrow is going on in his life. He may look happy from outside, but from inside he is very sad. Today we are mentioning this line because 18th February is the birth anniversary of Nalini Jaywant, who was once a famous Bollywood actress. It is said that she often used to say the line we are talking about. Now what was the sorrow in his life? We will talk about this later, before that let’s take a look at his film career.
It is said that Nalini was fond of dancing since childhood. His father also supported him in this. But along with dance, Nalini also wanted to work in films. But his father was strictly against this. Once Nalini had gone to her cousin sister Shobhana Samarth’s house. A birthday party was going on there. Shobhana was already working in films. Director Chemanlal Desai was also present in that party. He was making a film named ‘Radhika’ for which he was looking for an actress. His eyes fell on Nalini at the party and then Chemanlal’s search for an actress was completed. He offered his film to Nalini, but her father flatly refused. However, after much persuasion by Chemanlal, he agreed. Her film was released in the year 1941 and Nalini’s dream of working in films was fulfilled. After this, Nalini worked in many films like ‘Anokha Pyaar’ (1948), ‘Phir Bhi Apna Hai’ (1954), ‘Nastik’ (1954), ‘Munimji’ (1955).
She married the son of the director of her first film
Nalini became the daughter-in-law of the person with whose help she entered the film world. Director Chimanlal’s son Virendra Desai and Nalini became friends. This friendship that started during the shooting of the film turned into love. In the year 1945, both of them converted this love into marriage. However, both of them got married against the wishes of their families. The families of both were not ready for this relationship. Actually the issue here was that Virendra was already married and was also the father of a child. Both of them got married, but after this Virendra’s father threw him out of the house. After which Virendra started working in Filmistan Studio at a salary of Rs 2 thousand per month. They also took a house on rent, where both of them started living. But fate did not approve of their union. Actually, Virendra was working in Filmistan, but he was not getting any film and Nalini’s condition was also similar.
Even though Virendra was not getting films, Filmistan owner Shashadhar Mukherjee used to pay him salary every month. It is said about Nalini that she was not getting work because she had offered Sashadhar Mukherjee that she would work only in the film in which Virendra would be the director. Due to this condition, Shashadhar Mukherjee became angry with both of them and it started directly affecting their married life. The two started fighting every day. The result was that the fight turned into divorce. Both of them separated after just three years of marriage. While on one hand their married life went off track, on the other hand Nalini’s professional life came back on track. He started getting work. She appeared with Dilip Kumar in the 1948 film ‘Anokha Pyaar’. She also paired with Ashok Kumar on screen in many films including ‘Samaadhi’. It is said in the reports that while working together, he also grew close to Ashok Kumar, but it ended after a few years.
Second marriage with Prabhudayal
In 1955, a film named ‘Munimji’ was released. Dev Anand was in the lead role in this film. Actor Prabhudayal was also working in this film. This film, directed by Subodh Mukherjee, brought Nalini and Prabhudayal closer. In 1961, during the film ‘Amar Rahe Yeh Pyaar’, both of them fell in love, expressed their love and then got married. Nalini was working as an actress in this film and Prabhudayal was its director. The married life of both was going very well. However, Prabhudayal died in 2001 and Nalini was left alone. She was deeply shocked by her husband’s death. It is said that after this he adopted loneliness. She stopped going out and meeting people and started living a lonely life in her house in Chembur, Mumbai.
Date- December 22, 2010, Place- Chembur, in the same house, Nalini also leaves this world. Neither his neighbors nor relatives are aware of his death, as he no longer has any contact with relatives. His dead body continues to rot in the house for three days. Then a person comes and pretends to be his close friend and takes his body in an ambulance. It is said that he died of a heart attack. But who was the person who took away his body? Where did he take the dead body? There are still no answers to such questions and his death still remains a mystery.
