The conflict between Israel and Hezbollah has intensified. A horrific scene was seen in Lebanon amid the ongoing war between the two. A Lebanese journalist has been injured in a recent missile attack by Israel. Lebanese journalist and editor-in-chief of Miraya International Network Fadi Budaya was injured when an Israeli missile fell on his house. He was doing a live TV interview during the incident. In the video going viral on social media, Budaya was seen suddenly losing balance with a loud explosion in the middle of the conversation and falling in front of the camera. However, luckily he suffered only minor injuries in this attack.
Budaya informed about his safety on social media after the attack. He wrote on the social media platform X, “Thank you to all those who called, messaged and worried about me. By the grace of Allah I am fine and we are returning to carry out our media duties.” Let us tell you that Lebanese journalist Budaya is considered a Hezbollah supporter.
This attack has come at a time when tensions between Israel and Hezbollah are at their peak. Since the beginning of the Gaza war last October, cross-border clashes between the two sides have intensified. The situation between the two has worsened further after recent cyber attacks. Tensions have increased further after the explosions in the pagers and walkie-talkies of Hezbollah commanders in the past few days. Hezbollah holds Israel responsible for this and is continuously intensifying its attacks.
Retaliatory Israeli airstrikes killed more than 550 people in Lebanon on Monday, including more than 50 children. The same day, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu issued a video message urging Lebanese citizens to evacuate their homes. He said, “They can return to their homes after the operation is over.”
Ibrahim Kubaisi, the head of Hezbollah’s missile division, was killed in Israeli attacks on Tuesday. The Israeli Defense Force confirmed his death and said that Kubaisi was an important member of Hezbollah’s missile operations. Two other senior commanders are also reported dead along with Kubaisi. Amid this tension, Hezbollah has fired more than 300 rockets on northern Israeli cities during these attacks in the Dahiyeh suburb.
