According to the Panchang, this time the Sun will enter Capricorn on the morning of 14 January. Due to which the festival of Makar Sankranti will traditionally be celebrated on 14 January. Therefore, it would be auspicious to celebrate Lohri festival a day before it i.e. on Monday, 13th January.
Whom to worship on Lohri?
Let us tell you that on the auspicious day of Lohri, Lord Shri Krishna and Agnidev are worshipped. In the evening, install the idol of Lord Krishna, offer flower garlands, then apply tilak and light a ghee lamp. After this, worship God according to the rituals and finally perform Aarti by offering Bhog. After worshiping Lord Krishna, light a fire and add sesame seeds, dry coconut etc. to it. After this, revolve around the fire seven times.
