Madan Singh Chauhan (English: Madan Singh Chouhan, born October 15, 1947) is a musician and famous folk singer of Chhattisgarh. He is famous as ‘Guruji’. He has been awarded ‘Padma Shri’ in the year 2020.
Madan Singh Chauhan is a famous music teacher, ghazal singer and Sufi singer of Chhattisgarh, he dedicated his entire life to the practice of music.
He is also known as ‘Guruji’. He has demonstrated his art on many stages of the country.
Madan Singh Chauhan, who once used to play Riyaaz by playing tin keg, has been serving the art for the last many years, but at the age of 74, he has received the ‘Padma Shri’ award.
He received his initial education from Pandit Kanhaiyalal Bhatt and under his guidance his hold on Tabla deepened.
