According to the Hindu calendar, this time the Ashtami Tithi of Krishna Paksha falling in the month of Margashirsha is starting on 22nd November at 6.07 pm and this date will end the next day i.e. on 23rd November at 7.56 pm. . According to the same Udaya Tithi, this time the monthly Krishna Janmashtami fast will be observed on Friday, 22nd November.
Worship method of monthly Janmashtami-
Let us tell you that on the day of monthly Janmashtami, wake up early in the morning and take bath, after which wear red clothes. Now place a stool in the temple of the house and spread a red cloth on it. After this install the idol of Lord Krishna. Light a ghee lamp in front of the idol and resolve to fast and worship. Bathe the Lord with Panchamrit or Ganga water. After this, make Lord Krishna wear new clothes and then also do makeup. Apply Tilak to Shri Krishna with Roli. Offer basil leaves, butter, sugar candy, fruits and flowers. During this, chant the mantras of Lord Krishna and finally conclude the puja by performing aarti.
