Auspicious time for Shiva puja
According to the Hindu calendar, Shivratri fast will be observed on the Chaturdashi date of Krishna Paksha of November month i.e. Margashirsha month. This time monthly Shivratri is falling on 29th November. On this day Shivratri is starting at 8.39 am and it will end the next day i.e. on 30th November at 12.25 am. The auspicious time for worshiping Shiva and Parvati on the day of Monthly Shivratri will be from 11:41 pm to 12:25 pm on 29th November.
It is considered auspicious to worship Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati on monthly Shivratri, hence on this auspicious day, wake up in the morning in Brahma Muhurta and take bath etc. and then perform Jalabhishek of Lord Shiva. Worship the Shiva family along with Mother Parvati, worship Shiva by offering incense sticks, Ganga water, lamp, flowers and offerings. Chant the mantras of Shiva while resolving to fast, with this God fulfills the wishes of his devotees.
