M. O. Hasan Farook (English: MO Hasan Farook Maricar, born- 6 September 1937; died- 26 January 2012) was a politician of the Indian National Congress. He was the Chief Minister of the Indian state of Puducherry three times. Apart from this, M. O. H. Farook was also the Governor of Kerala.
Former Union Minister M. O. Hasan Farooq was sworn in as the Governor of Kerala on 8 September 2011.
Apart from this, he was elected to the Lok Sabha thrice from Puducherry in 1991, 1996 and 1999.
M. O. Hasan Farooq was the Union Minister of State for Aviation from June 1991 to December 1992 in the government of then Prime Minister Narasimha Rao.
M. O. Hassan Farooq also served as India’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia.
