According to the Hindu calendar, Tuesday, 8th October, is the sixth day of Shardiya Navratri, which has been dedicated to the worship of Mother Katyayani. Worshiping Mother Katyayani on this day gives the blessing of freedom from fear, hence today is the auspicious time to worship Mother Katyayani. It is from 9.19 am to 10.46 am, after this the second auspicious time is from 10.46 am to 12.14 pm. Apart from this, the auspicious time in the afternoon is from 12.14 to 1.41. The next Muhurta is from 3.08 am to 4.36 am.
