There is hardly any field in the film world in which Neeraj has not tried his hand. He first worked as a scriptwriter, then as an actor and in his last days as an excellent director. Neeraj, who belonged to a musical family, grew up in the same environment since childhood. As he grew up, he became involved in theatre. Neeraj was a person who showed his talent in every field.

Neeraj was born on 22 January 1963 in Bhuj, Gujarat. Neeraj’s father Pandit Vinayak Rai Vora was a classical musician and string shehnai player. Neeraj Vora’s mother Pramila Ben was a housewife. Neeraj was young when his father brought him and his mother to Mumbai. Here he got a job as an Indian classical music teacher in a school. Neeraj Vora started his career with Ketan Mehta’s 1984 film ‘Holi’. After this Neeraj started tasting success continuously. After this he got a chance to act in the film ‘Rangeela’.

The script of that film was written by Neeraj himself. Neeraj got a chance to work in the film in the absence of the actor, which he took full advantage of. Seeing his work, Anil Kapoor and Priyadarshan approached him for the film ‘Virasat’. Neeraj had already tried his hand in acting and writing. Later he also entered the field of direction with Akshay Kumar’s ‘Khiladi 420’. After this, Neeraj got the responsibility of directing this film in place of Satish Kaushik for ‘Phir Hera Pheri’. Neeraj wrote the scripts of many films and directed five films.

Neeraj Vora got his real recognition from his acting. The audience liked his comic timing very much. Neeraj used to adapt himself to every role. He worked in films like ‘Virasat’, ‘Satya’, ‘Mann’, ‘Badshah’, ‘Hello Brother’, ‘Dhadkan’, ‘Company’, ‘Bol Bachchan’ and ‘Welcome Back’. These films are still very popular among the audience, but this actor said goodbye to the world very soon. Due to prolonged illness, Neeraj left this world at the age of 54.
