Nicholas Copernicus (born 19 February, 1473, Poland; death- 24 May, 1543) was a renowned European astronomer and mathematician. He is considered ‘founder of modern astronomy’. Copernicus first gave this revolutionary formula that the Earth is not in the center of space. He gave the principle that all planets revolve around the Sun.
In the year 1530, Copernicus completed its composition “Di Revolutionabus’, which said that the Earth takes a round on its axis and takes it a year to revolve around the sun. Copernicus gave this conclusion for many years. It was taken out on the basis of the telescopic inventions by that time. First of all, Copernicus gave the principle that all planets revolve around the Sun. Copernicus propounded the ‘Heliosantric theory’, which proved that the sun is in the center of the universe and all the planets continue to go round. It was believed that the Sun revolves around the Earth. Copernicus had to face a lot of opposition for its principle, because all the astronomers then Was against
