Complaints of cockroaches, ants and rats appearing in trains are often reported. But imagine what would happen if a snake appears on your berth. Such an incident happened in the Garib Rath Express train departing from Jabalpur. Panic spread among the passengers after a snake was seen in the AC coach of the Garib Rath Express train. It is said that the incident happened on Saturday when the train reached near Kasara railway station. A passenger made a video of the incident which is going viral. However, does not confirm the authenticity of the video.
The incident took place on side berth number 23 of coach number G3. After seeing the snake, panic spread among the passengers. The incident is said to have happened on Saturday. Some passengers made a video of the incident and made it viral on social media. When the train reached Scholarship Shivaji Terminal, the passengers created a ruckus. On receiving the information, the rescue team along with the railway officials reached the spot and tried to find the snake but the rescue team could not find the snake. However, the coach in which the snake was seen was separated from the train.
On being asked about this incident, railway officials said that the train stands in the yard before leaving the station. It is the rainy season. Incidents of snakes coming out are more during this time. It is said that despite the snake coming out, the passengers remained sitting in the train in fear. In the viral video, a person is seen having fun, ‘Hey brother, how has this rich man come in Garib Rath?’ While another person is saying, move aside brother. Another person is saying that there is no need to misbehave.
The matter of relief was that the snake was wrapped in the holder on the upper berth. If it had come on the floor, it could have caused panic among the passengers and even a big tragedy. Congress has taunted the Railway Minister regarding this incident. Congress posted a video on Instagram and wrote, ‘Reel Minister, a snake is also travelling with the passengers in Jabalpur-Mumbai Garib Rath train. How much adventure do you want to give in life? Give a seat on the ticket. We don’t want a snake. Take at least a little guarantee of the safety of the passengers.’
