Astrology News Desk: There are many fasts and festivals observed in Sanatan Dharma and all have their own significance but Ekadashi fast is considered special which falls twice every month. A total of 24 Ekadashi fasts are observed in a year. Which is dedicated to Lord Vishnu, on this day devotees observe fast throughout the day and worship Shri Hari Vishnu as per the rituals. It is believed that doing so brings happiness and prosperity.
The first Ekadashi fast in the new year 2025 will be Pausha Putrada Ekadashi. Whose fast will be observed on the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha falling in the month of Pausha. The day of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi is considered best for worshiping Lord Vishnu. By doing puja and fasting on this day, the devotee gets special results. The first Ekadashi of this year i.e. Putrada Ekadashi is being celebrated on 10th January, Friday i.e. today, so let us know the auspicious time of worship.
Date and time of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi-
According to the Hindu calendar, this time the Ekadashi date of Shukla Paksha falling in the month of Paush has started on January 9 at 12:22 pm and it will end the next day i.e. on January 10 at 10:19 am. In such a situation, according to Udaya Tithi, this time the fast of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi will be observed on 10th January.
On the day of Pausha Putrada Ekadashi, the Brahma Muhurta for worshiping Lord Krishna is from 5.27 am to 6.21 am. The Abhijeet Muhurta for worship on this day will be from 12.08 am to 12.50 pm. The same Ekadashi fast will be broken on 11th January. Its auspicious time is from 7.15 am to 8.21 am.
