History News Desk !!! Peddireddy Venkata Midhun Reddy (English: Peddireddy Venkata Midhun Reddy, born – 29 August, 1977) is an Indian politician. He is a Member of Parliament from Rajampet constituency, Andhra Pradesh in the 17th Lok Sabha.
P. V. Midhun Reddy is a politician of Y. S. R. Congress Party. He was also a Member of Parliament from Rajampet constituency in the 16th Lok Sabha. In the year 2019, P. V. Midhun Reddy contested the Indian general election from Rajampet Lok Sabha constituency on a Y. S. R. Congress Party ticket and won with a thumping majority of 268,284 votes against his nearest rival D. K. Satya Prabha of Telugu Desam Party. P. V. Midhun Reddy is the son of former minister of United Andhra Pradesh Peddireddy Ramachandra Reddy, who is now serving as a Member of Legislative Assembly of Punganur. He has taken oath as the Cabinet Minister of Panchayati Raj and Rural Development, Mining and Geology on 8 June. P. V. Midhun Reddy’s uncle P. Dwarakanath Reddy was elected to Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly in 2019 with the highest majority in Chittoor district from Thumballapalle.
