Date and time of Pradosh fast-
According to the Hindu calendar, the first Pradosh fast of Pausha month will be observed on the Trayodashi date of Krishna Paksha. This year, Trayodashi Tithi has started on 28th December at 2:26 am and will end the next day i.e. on 29th December at 3:32 am. According to Udaya Tithi, the first Pradosh fast of Paush month will be observed on 28th December. This day is falling on Saturday, hence it is being called Shani Pradosh Vrat.

On the day of Shani Pradosh fast in the month of Paush, worship Shanidev along with worshiping Lord Shiva. The auspicious time for worship on this day is from 5.21 pm to 8.06 pm on 28th December. Do Shiva Sadhana during this time. Will be beneficial.
