People’s craze for the country’s most popular train Vande Bharat is at its peak. People are mesmerized by the facilities of this train. Special care is taken of the passengers inside Vande Bharat. IRCTC also claims to serve excellent quality food to the passengers. But recently a travel influencer has been trolled on social media for praising the food available in Vande Bharat. Travel influencer Shashank Gupta, who compared the food available in Vande Bharat Express train to the food of a 5-star hotel, has faced severe criticism on social media.
Shashank Gupta recently posted a post on X in which he praised the food of Vande Bharat Express. He wrote that he traveled in train number 20981 Udaipur-Agra Vande Bharat Express and the food of this train was no less than any 5-star hotel in taste.
After this post, Gupta started getting trolled on social media. Many people questioned his review and alleged that he was paid to give such a response. One user wrote that if this is the food of a 5-star hotel then I am Shahrukh Khan. Another said that without going to a 5-star hotel, how can you prove that this food is no less than a 5-star hotel.
After these criticisms, Gupta clarified the matter and said that his opinion is completely based on his personal experience and has nothing to do with any political agenda. Gupta clarified in his post and wrote, “The review I did of Vande Bharat’s food was completely based on my experience and has nothing to do with any political agenda. I am sharing my true opinion as a satisfied customer.”
He urged his critics to engage in meaningful conversations, saying, “I understand that my recent review is being debated, but I want to assure you that it is based on my personal opinion. It may not be 5-star quality, but I found it much better than the usual train food. My aim is to give honest and accurate feedback to my audience.” Gupta also said that his opinions are not influenced by any external pressure or his being a travel influencer. He appealed to critics to engage in positive discussions.
