Remembering the talent of Raj Kapoor, Narendra Modi has praised him a lot. He also said that Raj Kapoor has made a huge contribution in giving Indian cinema a special identity across the world.
Modi called Raj Kapoor an ambassador
Prime Minister Narendra Modi wrote, ‘Today we are celebrating the 100th birth anniversary of Raj Kapoor, a visionary filmmaker, actor and the first showman! His talent will continue to flourish from generation to generation… He has left an indelible mark on Indian and global cinema. Because of his many famous characters, he is still present in the hearts of the audience. Raj Kapoor was not just a filmmaker, he also played the role of an ambassador.
