Raima Sen is the daughter of Munmun Sen and Bharat Dev Varma and she is the granddaughter of actress Suchitra Sen, considered a great heroine of Bengali cinema. Raima belongs to the royal family. Actually, Raima’s father i.e. Munmun Sen’s husband Bharat Dev Verma is from the royal family of Tripura. Raima’s grandmother Ila Devi was the princess of Cooch Behar, whose younger sister Gayatri Devi used to be the queen of Jaipur. His great-grandmother Indira was the only daughter of Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad of Baroda.
