He was the youngest son of his famous film actor Raj Kapoor. Rajiv Kapoor made his debut with the 1983 film ‘Ek Jaan Hai Hum’, but he got recognition from the film ‘Ram Teri Ganga Maili’ released in 1985. He was also seen as an actor in films like ‘Nag Nagin’ and ‘Angare’. Apart from this, he produced Akshay Khanna and Aishwarya Rai starrer ‘Aa Ab Laut Chale’. Rajiv Kapoor was the director in Rishi Kapoor and Madhuri Dixit’s ‘Prem Granth’ released in 1986.

Rajiv Kapoor acted in many films like ‘Akash’, ‘Lover Boy’, ‘Jhanhak’ and ‘Hum To Chale Pardes’, but his career as an actor could not run and films failed at the box office.
