History News Desk!!! Rammurti Tripathi (English: Rammurti Tripathi, born January 4, 1929) was a scholar and critic of Hindi and Sanskrit. He was a professor at Sagar University. He was the head of the department of Hindi in Vikram University and was also a guest teacher in many universities. He was an extraordinary interpreter of the power of words and the ideas of taste.
Ramamurthy Tripathi was born on January 4, 1929 in a small village in Varanasi, Uttar Pradesh. He did M.A. from Kashi Hindu University. And obtained Ph.D degree. He also held the post of Professor and President of Vikram University, Ujjain. His published works are – Yushana and new poetry, Indian literary philosophy, discussion of justification, discussion of rasa, major aspects of literature, Lakshna and its spread in Hindi poetry and mysticism etc. In the year 2001, he was honored with ‘Murti Devi Award’ for his work ‘Shriguru Mahima’.
