Raveena Tandon became the mother of two daughters at the age of 21, whose names are Chhaya and Pooja. When Raveena adopted her elder daughter Chhaya, she was 11 years old, while Pooja was 8 years old. Raveena has also paid full attention to Chhaya and Pooja’s studies. Chhaya is an air hostess and Pooja is an event manager. It is said that Chhaya and Pooja are the daughters of Raveena’s cousin, who has passed away. Raveena has also married both her daughters.

Narrating the story of her adopted girls, Raveena said, ‘These girls Pooja and Chhaya were born in front of me. These are my cousin’s daughters, their mother died after their birth, after which no family member was given to raise these little girls. I met my cousins and told them that these girls were not being taken care of as they should be. I told her that I am ready to become her legal guardian and can take complete care of her.

Raveena further says, ‘At that time people were apprehensive about my decision. They used to say that no one would want to marry me with this burden. But as they say, what’s destined to happen, will happen. I couldn’t have been luckier. I remember when I got married, both of them were in the car with me and took me to the mandap. Now I have got a chance to walk with him. It’s really a very special feeling.
Married a distributor in 2004
Raveena Tandon married film distributor Anil Thadani in 2004. They have two children (daughter Rasha and son Ranbir Vardhan). Among the two adopted daughters, Chhaya is an air hostess and Pooja is an event manager. Both are married and have children.
