Film direction
Ravi Tandon made his first film as ‘Anohoni’ after learning the nuances of film direction in the films ‘Love in Shimla’ and ‘Yeh Rasta Hain Pyaar Ke’. Braj Ratna Award
Film director Ravi Tandon was awarded the ‘Braj Ratna Award’ in the year 2020 on behalf of ‘Incredible India Foundation’. Ravi Tandon could not come to Agra due to poor health. According to Foundation President Puran Dabur, Ravi’s younger brother Rajju Tandon took the award. Dabur said that on receiving the Braj Ratna Award, Ravi Tandon said that the award given to me by my city is one of the special awards of my life. Even while living in Mumbai, the Braj Ratna Award will always be smelling me with the scent of my city.

Film director Ravi Tandon died on 11 February 2022 in Mumbai, Maharashtra. He breathed his last in the morning at Juhu, Mumbai. He was struggling with old age related diseases. His daughter Raveena Tandon shared the post on her social media. Raveena performed his father’s last rites.
