A retired Indian Foreign Service officer was sent out by his wife to buy vegetables with a page of instructions written on it. Former officer Mohan Pargain shared a picture of it on his social media platform and it went viral in no time. On this page, his wife guides him carefully to buy every vegetable.
The guide has specific notes for each vegetable, such as choosing tomatoes with a mix of yellow and red, and a strict warning to avoid loose or holey tomatoes. For potatoes, it is advised to choose medium size. For fenugreek, precise guidelines are given that the leaves should be good, without any holes and not too wilted. The guide also included pictures to help you choose the right shape and size of vegetables like chillies, spinach and onions.
Posting the post on social media, Pargan wrote that while going to the market for vegetables, my wife shared this with me and said that you can use it as a guide.
Soon people started commenting on his post in their own way. Many users praised his wife and said that her micromanagement is very good.
While commenting on this, a user wrote that wow, I have bookmarked this post of yours for the next time I have to buy vegetables. Apart from these vegetables, I am waiting for such a guide book for other vegetables. But this is very scary for a husband because if he leaves any stone unturned then a fight is sure that even though I had given it in writing, still he could not bring it.
