Rishi Kapoor (English: Rishi Kapoor, born – 4 September 1952, Chembur, Mumbai; died – 30 April 2020, Mumbai, Maharashtra), was a English film actor, producer and director. He started his acting career by working as a child artist. He was awarded the Filmfare Award for Best Actor in 1974 for the film ‘Bobby’ as well as other awards including the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award in 2008. Rishi Kapoor received the National Film Award in 1971 for his brilliant role in his first film ‘Mera Naam Joker’.

Rishi Kapoor was born on 4 September 1952 in Chembur, Mumbai. Rishi Kapoor is the middle son of Bollywood’s showman Raj Kapoor. His mother’s name was Krishna Raj Kapoor. His nickname is Chintu. He has two brothers – Randhir Kapoor and Rajiv Kapoor. Both of Rishi’s brothers are Bollywood actors like him. He is married to Bollywood actress Neetu Singh.
