According to the Panchang, Santan Saptami fast is observed every year on the Saptami Tithi of Shukla Paksha of Bhadrapada month. Worshiping Lord Shiva and Mother Parvati on this day is considered auspicious.
This year, Santan Saptami Vrat is being observed today, i.e. on Tuesday, 10th September. Women observe this fast for the happy life of their children. Also, by observing fast and puja on this day, the wish for child happiness is also fulfilled.
