Hardeep Singh Puri (English: Hardeep Singh Puri, born- 15 February 1952) is a senior politician of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP). He was given the status of Minister of State for the ‘Housing and Ministry of Urban Affairs’ in the Narendra Modi Cabinet of the seventeenth Lok Sabha, but on July 7, 2021, after the expansion and reshuffle in Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s cabinet, he now got a cabinet minister. And he is taking the responsibility of ‘Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Gas’ and ‘Ministry of Housing and Urban Affairs’. Hardeep Singh Puri is known to put India’s favor strongly in front of the world on many occasions in diplomatic life. He played important diplomatic responsibilities in Brazil, Japan, Sri Lanka and Britain during 1988 to 1991.
Introduction
Born on 15 February 1952 in Delhi, Hardeep Singh Puri is a 1974 batch officer of the Indian Foreign Service and in 2014, impressed by the Bharatiya Janata Party’s attitude towards national security, he decided to join the saffron party. From his student life, he had learned leadership ability and the skills to keep his point strongly and his quality came in handy in fulfilling every responsibility.
Career
Among the faces to be included in the Modi government, senior Indian Foreign Service officer Hardeep Puri is also named, who is considered to be an expert in national security and foreign policy and during his diplomatic life of about 40 years he is the ambassador of India in many countries Apart from offering his services, he has fulfilled important responsibilities in the United Nations. In his long diplomatic life, Hardeep Singh Puri is credited with full firmness to India’s favor in the United Nations on many occasions. After completing his studies from the Hindu College of Delhi University, he moved to the Indian Foreign Service and during this time J.P. He was also active in the movement.
He was also a lecturer at St. Stephen’s College for some time. He has played important diplomatic responsibilities in Brazil, Japan, Sri Lanka and Britain. He was the Vice President of the International Peace Institute, New York and served as the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of India to the United Nations, Hardeep Singh Puri as the head of the Indian delegation in the United Nations Security Council. As the chairman of the Security Council, he honestly protected India’s interests. Hardeep Singh Puri J.P. Has also participated in the movement. He has served in New York (2009-2013) and Geneva (2002-2005) as permanent representatives of India at the United Nations.
