Introduction

S. H. Bihari was born in 1922 in Ara district of Bihar. He was educated in Kolkata, where he received his BA degree from Presidency College. There they also learned Bengali and already used to come to Hindi and Urdu. At that time, he was so good in the football game, that she was also elected in the team of Mohan Bagan.

Start of film career

S. H. Bihari reached Bombay in 1947, where his brothers lived. After much effort, he got work there. S. H. Bihari may be directly visible from plain, but he had many qualities that gave him a different identity from others. The film came out in 1950 ‘Dilruba’ and one of its songs were ‘Hato-Hato Ji Aa Hum’. Just here, his film career started, but neither this song could climb on the tongue of the people nor in anyone’s eyes, but this year the film ‘innocent’ and after that ‘Bedardi’, ‘Beautiful’, ‘Nishan Danka Danka In 1953, he also wrote a few songs in ‘Rangeela’, which failed to fuck people on the tongue.

The 1954 film ‘Bet’ which was produced by Shashidhar Mukherjee, in it, had music and songs of Hemant Kumar and S.H. Bihari and Rajendra Krishna. Its song ‘Neither this moon, nor will you remain/but we will always be yours’. He wrote the songs in the films ‘Daku Ki Girl’, ‘Bahu’, ‘Arab Saudagar’, ‘Ek Jhalak’ and ‘Jewish girl’ from 1954 and 1957.

Bihari worked with composers Shyamsunder, Shankar-Jaikishan and Madan Mohan and also wrote songs for Laxmikant-Pyarelal and Bappi Lahiri.
