According to astrology, on the night of Sharad Purnima, worship Goddess Lakshmi in the north-east corner and light two lamps during the worship. Light a lamp of cow ghee and keep it on the right side of Goddess Lakshmi. Light the second lamp of groundnut oil and keep it on the left side of Mata Rani. But keep in mind that the wick of both the lamps should be of red colored thread.
