This year, Shardiya Navratri has started on Thursday, 3rd October and will end on 11th October. During the nine days of Navratri, nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped and fasts etc. are also observed. It is believed that doing so increases the auspicious results.

Worship method of Mother Chandraghanta-
Let us tell you that on the third day of Navratri, wake up early in the morning, take bath etc. and wear clean clothes, meditate on the Mother Goddess and start worshiping her. First of all, clean the place of worship thoroughly and sprinkle Ganga water. After this, offer different flowers to the Mother Goddess and then also offer Akshat, Kumkum and Sindoor. Now worship Goddess Chandraghanta by lighting an incense lamp, chanting the mantras of the goddess and performing aarti and then reciting Chalisa. After this, offer sweets made from milk or kheer.
