This year, Shardiya Navratri has started on Thursday, 3rd October and will end on 11th October. During the nine days of Navratri, nine different forms of Goddess Durga are worshiped and fasts etc. are also observed. It is believed that doing so increases the auspicious results.
The third day of Navratri is dedicated to Maa Chandraghanta and tomorrow i.e. Saturday, 5th October, devotees will worship the Chandraghanta form of Maa, so today we are telling you which things should not be eaten even by mistake during Navratri fast, otherwise the fast may be broken. Do not eat these things even by mistake-
Shardiya Navratri is starting from tomorrow, so if you are fasting for nine days, then you should not forget some things during this period, otherwise the fast may be broken. In such a situation, the fasting person should not consume garlic and onion in food for nine days of Navratri.
Apart from this, rock salt is eaten in the fasting food, hence do not use common salt in the food even by mistake. During Navratri fast, the fasting person should not consume grains like wheat and rice even by mistake. Apart from this, consumption of legumes, pulses, rice, wheat flour, maize flour, rice flour, whole wheat and semolina should also be avoided.
