Shinzo Abe (English: Shinzo Abe, born – 21 September 1954, Nagato, Yamaguchi, Japan) is the 57th Prime Minister of Japan. He has been the Prime Minister of Japan and the President of the Liberal Democratic Party since December 2012. He is one of the longest-serving Prime Ministers in Japanese history. The Government of India honored Shinzo Abe with the Padma Vibhushan in the year 2021.
Joe Abe was born on September 21, 1954, in Nagato, Yamaguchi, Japan. His father’s name is Hironobu Abe and mother’s name is Nobuo Kishi. Shinzo Abe’s wife’s name is Aki Abe.
Shinzō Abe previously served as Prime Minister of Japan from 2006 to 2007. Abe is the chairman of the Liberal Democratic Party and the Oyagaku Propulsion Parliamentary Group. When Abe was elected to the post of Prime Minister for the first time in a special session of Japan’s national parliament (Diet) on 26 September 2006, he became Japan’s youngest post-World War II Prime Minister, as well as the first Prime Minister born after World War II. He resigned as Prime Minister on 12 September 2007 after serving for less than a year, and was subsequently replaced by Yasuo Fukuda.
