Shivinder Singh Sidhu (English: Shivinder Singh Sidhu, born- October 13, 1929; death- October 25, 2018) was the Secretary General of the International Civil Aviation Organization. His tenure was from 1988 to 1991. Shivender Singh Sindhu was also the Governor of the Indian states Manipur, Goa and Meghalaya.
Shivender Singh Sindhu held several senior positions and represented his government in several bilateral and inter-governmental negotiations in various fields.
He was also the chief representative of the Indian delegation at several international conferences.
In 1986, he was elected President of the 26th session of the ICAO Assembly.
Shivender Singh Sindhu was the Director of the Civil Aviation Administration of India (February 1985 to October 1987). He also served as the Chairman of Air India and Indian Airlines and Secretary to the Government in the Ministry of Civil Aviation.
