Sajid Khan’s father Kamran Khan was a well-known Bollywood director. Stars often visited his house. But as soon as the film named ‘Aisa Bhi Hota Hai’ flopped, his family fell into poverty. His father had invested all his earnings in this film, which was wasted like water.
Mother’s jewelery sold, 500 square feet house saved
Poverty increased to such an extent that Sajid’s father had to sell household items and even his mother’s jewellery. The family was left with only a small house, in which they were somehow surviving. When Sajid was just 6 years old, his parents got divorced. After this, the childhood of Sajid and his sister Farah Khan was spent running between their parents’ houses. Troubled by poverty, Sajid started stealing. He formed a gang with his friends and started stealing things from the rich.
He also stole cousin Farhan Akhtar’s things and reached the police station.

His father died of liver failure when he was 14. Father’s death shook Sajid deeply. He realized that now he had to take responsibility.
