Sonalben Manubhai Patel (English: Sonalben Manubhai Patel, born- 15 September 1987, Gujarat) is a para table tennis player from India. In the Summer Paralympics, 2020 (Tokyo Paralympics Games), Sonalben Manubhai Patel was eliminated after losing in her very first match. After her, Bhavaniben Patel also had to face defeat in her very first match.
Class 3 includes players who have no control over their upper body, although their hands are minimally affected, while Class 4 players are able to sit well in a wheelchair and have no problems with their hands.
Sonalben Patel was participating in the Class 3 category of table tennis. Her first match was against Li Quan of China.
Sonalben had a good start in the match. She was in the lead after the first three games. However, after this she could not maintain her lead and lost this exciting match 3-2. In this match that lasted for five games, the Chinese player won 11-9, 3-11, 15-17, 11-7, 11-4.
