Entertainment News Desk – On January 22, 2005, newspapers and milk packets were lying outside the door of the apartment on the 7th floor of Riviera Building in Juhu, Mumbai for three days. There was no lock on the door and no one had come out from inside for the last three days. When the neighbors gathered they became suspicious. When they went near the door, they could not stay there for long because of the smell of rot. Neighbors called the police and informed. The police knocked on the door but got no answer and then when the police broke the door and entered inside, they were shocked.
Painful death at the age of 50
The body of actress Parveen Babi was lying on the bed. The dead body was decomposed and there was a foul smell in the room. There was a wheelchair lying near the bed. Parveen Babi had died three days before her body was found. He had no relatives, no friends and no one to inquire about him. The entire nation was shocked when the decomposed body of beautiful Parveen Babi was found at the age of 50.
Parveen was suffering from schizophrenia
Parveen had an incurable disease called paranoid schizophrenia. Due to this illness, sometimes she felt that Amitabh Bachchan wanted to kill her, and sometimes she used to say that Amitabh’s people had kidnapped her. He had delusions that people wanted to kill him or that there was a bomb in his car. Sometimes she would suddenly disappear from the set for 6 years, and sometimes she would create ruckus on the set. His behavior became so bad that he was once caught at the New York airport, shackled and sent to a mental asylum.
Mahesh Bhatt wanted to get her disease treated, but Parveen stubbornly kept her distance from him. While living alone, Parveen’s condition worsened and eventually she died in loneliness. When no relative came to collect his body, Mahesh Bhatt himself took the responsibility of his last rites, in which Mahesh was also joined by his two former lovers Danny and Kabir Bedi.
