37-year-old Italian woman Ambra Collina has registered her name in the Guinness World Records due to her unique and thick tongue. The thickness of his tongue is so much that it even surpasses the circumference of a table tennis ball. Due to her unique tongue, Colina has gained recognition at the global level.
In an interview with Guinness World Records, Ambra told that he got this inspiration when he saw the picture of Dante Barnes, the person with the longest tongue. Since then he also decided to make a world record and started efforts. He applied to get his name registered in the records, after which his tongue was measured three times.
After measuring three times, the doctors took the average and accepted it as the final standard. According to this measurement, the thickness of Umbra’s tongue was found to be 5.44 inches, which was officially recognized by Guinness World Records.
Earlier, the record of the woman with the thickest tongue was in the name of Jennifer Du Wander, a resident of Oregon, America, whose tongue was 5.21 inches thick. Ambra Collina broke this record. The men with the thickest tongue also have their own record. Currently, this record is held by Sacha Fenner of Belgium, whose tongue thickness is 6.69 inches. Fenner’s tongue is about 1 inch thicker than Colina’s.
