On Wednesday (December 11), IMDb India shared the list of the most popular films of 2024 on its official Instagram and wrote to the people, ‘This is the time for a special announcement. Introducing the most popular Indian movies of 2024 that won your heart and inspired you to come to the screen again. Of all films released in India between January 1 and November 25, 2024, with an average IMDb user rating of 5 or higher, these 10 films have consistently been the most popular among IMDb users, as ranked by the top 250 on IMDb worldwide. Determined by actual page views of over million monthly visitors.

South star Prabhas’ blockbuster Kalki 2898 AD has topped the list released by IMDb. Directed by Nag Ashwin, the film had a lifetime gross of Rs 640.63 crore across all languages in India. After ‘Kalki’, Shraddha Kapoor and Rajkumar Rao’s horror comedy Stree 2 has registered its name on the top 2. While Maharaja, Shaitan and Fighter are at third, fourth and fifth position respectively.
