The 6.6 magnitude earthquake killed at least 400 people in the central American country Al Salvador. 2002 – The main accused in the Pearl Kidnapping case, Omar Sheikh, arrested in Lahore, killed 117 in a plane crash in Iran. 2003 – Yash Chopra receives Dadasaheb Phalke Award. 2004 – Indian team won a gold medal at the tenth Asian Shooting Championship in Qualampur. 2005 – The victory of the Shia Islamic Front in the first election after Saddam Hussain in Iraq. 2007 – North Korea agrees to close the nuclear program. 2008 – Pakistan successfully tested a missile missile Ghaznavi. 2009- Railway Minister Lalu Prasad Yadav presented the interim railway budget for 2009-10. The Uttar Pradesh Legislative Assembly presented a budget of Rs 12,094 crore for the financial year 2009-10. 2010- Nine people, including five women and a foreign national were killed and 53 others were injured in the evening bomb blast in Bakery near the Jewish prayer site in Pune, Maharashtra. 2014 – 14 people were killed and 17 people were injured in an explosion in an illegal gambling house in Calie city of China.

Kurup – was the famous Malayali poet and lyricist. 2015 – Dr. Tulsiram – Writer who holds a different place in Dalit writing. 2012 – Akhlaq Muhammad Khan ‘Shaharyar’ – was a famous Urdu poet. 2008 – Rajendra Nath – was a comedian of Hindi cinema. 1974 – Ustad Amir Khan – Famous singer of Indian classical music (born 1912) 1964 – Asit Kumar Haldar – was imaginative, emotional modern painter. 1918 – Sir Sundar Lal – Was a well -known jurist and public activist. 1832 – Budhu Bhagat – Famous revolutionary and beginner of ‘Larka Rebellion’.
