Vijay Anand was born on 22 January in Gurdaspur, Punjab. Vijay Anand’s mother died when he was just seven years old. He was brought up under the care of his elder brother and sister-in-law. By the time Vijay Anand was completing his primary education, his elder brothers Dev Anand and Chetan Anand had become big names. After completing his studies, Vijay Anand also came into the industry. Let us tell you that Vijay Anand had obtained his graduation degree from St. Xavier’s College, Mumbai. When Vijay Anand was in college, he wrote a screenplay with his sister-in-law Uma Anand. Later, a film was also made based on this script, which people know by the name of ‘Taxi Driver’. This film was released in the year 1954, produced by Chetan Anand, while Dev Anand was the producer and actor of the film. This film performed well at the box office, after which Vijay Anand’s understanding of the film industry improved.
