Birth
Veer Savarkar’s full name was Vinayak Damodar Savarkar. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar, who struggled for India’s independence against English power, was generally known as Veer Savarkar. Veer Savarkar was born on 28 May 1883 in Bhagur village in Nashik. His father Damodarpant was known among the presiding persons of the village. When Vinayak was nine years old, his mother Radhabai died. Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was the largest Hinduist of the 20th century. He was very fond of the word Hindu. He used to say that he should be called a Hindu organizer in place of Swatantraya Veer. He worked for Hindu Hindi Hindustan throughout his life. He was elected national president 6 times of All India Hindu Mahasabha. In 1937, he was elected President of ‘Hindu Mahasabha’ and in 1938 declared the Hindu Mahasabha as a political party. After 1943, Dadar lived in Mumbai. Later he proved innocent and took a break from politics.
Education
Veer Savarkar passed the matriculation examination from Shivaji High School Nashik in 1901. He was studying since childhood. In childhood, he also wrote some poems. Even while studying at Ferguson College Pune, he used to give a speech filled with patriotism. While he was leaving law in Vilayat, he was sent to India by a ship as cooperation in a murder in 1910 AD.
Establishment of revolutionary organization
In 1940, Veer Savarkar established a revolutionary organization called ‘Abhinav Bharati’ in Poona, which was aimed at achieving freedom by force when needed. He formed a Gupta Society to work for independence, which was known as ‘Mitra Mela’.
Savarkar’s struggle
Veer Savarkar was sent to India by a ship as cooperating in a murder in 1910 AD. But they escaped by jumping into the sea from the ship near the Marslese port of France, but were caught again and brought to India. Veer Savarkar’s name has been very important in the struggles for India’s independence. The great patriot and revolutionary Savarkar dedicated his entire life to the country. While Savarkar continued to struggle to make the country independent with his nationalist views, on the other hand, his life remained surrounded by struggles even after the independence of the country.
Jail travel
His prosecution was heard by a special court and he was punished with a lifetime of Kalapani. Savarkar stayed in Andaman Jail (Cellular Jail) from 1911 to 1921. In 1921, he returned home and then 3 years in jail. He was freed in 1937 AD, but the Indian National Congress could not get his support in 1947, he opposed the partition of India. Mahatma Ramchandra Veer (leader and saint of Hindu Mahasabha) supported him. And in 1948 AD, he was suspected to have a hand in the assassination of Mahatma Gandhi. Even after so many difficulties, he did not bow down and his patriotism remained intact and the court had to free him from all the allegations.

Some major functions
Savarkar was the first person in India to organize a revolutionary movement against him at London, the center of the British Empire. Savarkar was the first person from India to give the slogan of ‘Swadeshi’ in 1906 after the 1905 Bang-Bhang, burnt Holi of foreign clothes. Savarkar was the first person in India to lose the degree of barrister due to his thoughts. Savarkar was the first Indian to demand complete freedom. Savarkar was the first person of India to write the history of about one thousand pages in 1907, describing the battle of 1857 as the ‘freedom struggle’ of India. Savarkar was the first writer in India and the world whose book was banned by the governments of the British and British state before it was published. Savarkar was the first political prisoner in the world, whose case was in the International Court of International Court of Hague. Savarkar was the first Indian political prisoner to make an untouchable a priest of the temple. It was Savarkar who created the first Indian flag, which was hoisted by Madam Cama in the 1907 International Socialist Congress in Germany. Savarkar was the first poet who wrote poems with stone pieces on the walls of the prison without pen. On the death of Veer Savarkar in 1966, the Government of India has also issued a postage stamp in his honor. At that time political instability started starting in our country and Indira Gandhi became the new Prime Minister of the country after the death of Lal Bahadur Shastri. Veer Savarkar was given this honor only to respond to his political rebels. The airport of Port Blair has been named Veer Savarkar International Airport after his name.
