Assam News Desk!! Vishnu Ram Medhi (English: Bishnu Ram Medhi, born- 24 April, 1888; died- 21 January, 1981) was an Indian politician, freedom fighter and the second Chief Minister of Assam.
Vishnu Ram Medhi, famous in Assam politics, was a leader of the Indian National Congress. He was the Chief Minister of Assam from 9 August 1950 to 27 December 1957. Vishnu Ram Medhi was the Governor of Madras State from January 1958 to May 1964.
