According to religious beliefs, Lord Vishwakarma is a divine sculptor. He is also called the greatest architect of Brahmins. His birth anniversary is celebrated every year on 17 September. It is believed that Lord Vishwakarma was born on this auspicious day. This year Vishwakarma Puja is being celebrated today i.e. on Tuesday, 17 September.
It is also known as Vishwakarma Divas. On this day, machines and parts are worshipped in factories. This festival is celebrated with great pomp and show.
