Richa Chadha herself had revealed in an interview that she wanted to become a journalist, but fate pulled her into the film world. Richa started her career as an intern in a magazine. During her internship she called a Bollywood actor for an interview and she got a film with the actor and after 6 months she appeared in a film with him.

Richa Chadha made her debut in 2008 with ‘Oye Lucky Lucky Oye’. Before this, he had entered the world of acting through theatre. When he called for the interview, she was also doing a drama. Richa called for an interview with Abhay Deol during which time she was a trainee and made her acting debut with the actor.

Richa said that she spoke to Abhay Deol for the first time when she was doing her internship. Talking about this, Richa said, ‘I don’t think Abhay knows that I have called him for an interview. Then he did some films like Aahista-Aahista. I called him and said sir we want to do an interior fashion feature with you.
