Rani Mukherjee and Johnny Lever were also seen in important roles in the film. According to Sacknilk, the budget of the film Hello Brother was 9 crores while the film collected 20.06 crores at the worldwide box office. It was in these figures of Secnilk that the film was said to be a flop.
