Lawrence, lodged in Gujarat’s Sabarmati jail, is fast becoming synonymous with high-profile crimes taking place in and outside the country. For many people who want to make a name in the world of crime, Lawrence Bishnoi has become like a hero, who even gets big people killed while sitting in jail. Now the question is, whom does Lawrence Bishnoi consider as his guru or hero?
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, most of the gangsters in the criminal world consider someone as their guru or hero but on the contrary, Lawrence considers himself as his hero. The report quoted an officer who interrogated Bishnoi as saying that Lawrence Bishnoi does not consider anyone else but himself as his hero in the world of crime.
Bishnoi expanded his gang in jail
An SSP rank officer, who interrogated Bishnoi on several occasions, said that Lawrence had been lodged in jails of Burail, Bathinda, Patiala, Tihar and Rajasthan for a long time. It helped him to build his network with fellow criminals present in these jails. Lawrence targeted people based in the country and abroad who wanted to make a name in the crime world. He constantly maintained contacts with them and took help from them for his work. In today’s time, the strength of his gang is that it can get any work done in any country where Indians have settled.
Punjab Police identified the gang
Police is continuously investigating against Lawrence Bishnoi’s gang lodged in Sabarmati jail. Punjab Police has also identified many people of Bishnoi gang. Among these, the names of Sampat Nehra in Haryana and Goldie Brar in Canada and America are at the top. Other close associates include Deepak Kumar alias Tinu, Ravinder alias Kali Rajput and Sandeep alias Kala Jatheri, all except Brar are currently in jail.
